Update: Micah now weighs 18 lbs. and is 26 inches. We are not sure that we agree this time. At home we measured him at 28 inches, and he feels like he weighs so much more than 18 lbs. He is solid!
We still can not believe it ourselves-Micah has already been here for half a year! Wow, where does the time go?
I will have an update on his measurements Tuesday after his doctor's appointment. Right now he seems to be teething. He has his fussy moments when hardly anything is soothing to him. We think that is when his gums are bothering him, because he generally is not a fussy baby.

Deal or no deal
Who knew that we would need to get rid of the RX-8 NOW? Terrance goes out to start the car and it won't start. He calls the dealership to have it towed, and is told about cold starts. The suggestion the clerk gave did not work. So off to the dealership the car went. The starter and the battery both had to be replaced. Mind you this car is only 3 years old and only has 24,000 miles on it.
To my disappointment Terrance and I both came to the conclusion that it would be in our best interest to get out of this vehicle before the warranty runs out. Too many other RX-8 owners were having the same problems, and for some it was a reoccurring problem. So much for thinking I would have my car for a long time. That car was so much fun to drive (if you have driven one then you know what I am talking about).
So now I am the proud owner of an SUV like so many other Americans. Don't get me wrong I love my new 4Runner but, I miss the RX-8.
I am glad that the decision making for picking out a new vehicle is over. It was difficult and painful for me. Finding a vehicle that would be practical for our family, is safe, and looks nice was not easy. Not to mention having to deal with the annoying sales people that want you to make an on the spot decision, and can't understand why a person would want to think about such a decision.

Terrance at home
It feels like it is the weekend all the time around here now since Terrance landed an at-home job. It is nice having him around-hope Micah and I don't run him back to the office.
Since today was his first full day at home we started our work out routine together again. I will keep you updated on how that is going. I am trying to lose almost 40 pounds! As you can see from my recent picture the poundage has stacked up after three foot surgeries and a baby. For starters we completed a jog/walk through one of the parks around here. Then completed some sit-ups, and push-ups. (Terrance didn't do his push-ups--he thinks I didn't catch that one). I surprised myself jogging a little, but the sit-ups were very disappointing to me. I think this is the worse I have ever been out of shape.
Terrance also tells me that tonight we are going to the gym also to either play basketball or lift weights. I hope I can walk tomorrow!

Micah's first Christmas
We did not go all out this Christmas, because we figure we will have plenty of other Christmas times that Micah will actually remember. We did enjoy the company of our families and friends.

Angie's uncles visit 12-16-06
What a surprise two of my mother's brothers came to Texas for a visit. It was wonderful seeing them after so many years. Uncle Melvin and Carl also had a chance to meet Micah. I wish we had longer to visit with them.

Micah's first solid meal
Micah's first meal was scrumptious squash with delicious and nutritious rice. He loved it!

Micah is 4 months old
Micah now weighs 16 lbs. and is 24 in. long. He can sit up on his own, but he leans forward. He does not like to try to crawl much. He prefers trying to walk(with support) and standing.
Dr. Martin thinks he can feel a ridge in Micah's mouth, which may mean he might get some teeth soon. Developmentally everything else seems to be on track.

Happy Thanksgiving!
More to come soon! God bless.
Update: I forgot the camera when we went to Killeen for Thanksgiving day. The food and visit were great! Micah even had a good laugh with his granny.
Then I left the camera at home again when we went to Alissa's (Micah's cousin) birthday party. Terrance did snap this one pic with his camera phone.

Happy Halloween
Micah seemed to enjoy his first Halloween. He met a few neighbors and helped Mommy and Daddy pass out candy.
