Going back to St. Louis

I was not READY for my break to be over yet. Micah sang and chanted on the flight back this time, but he was still good considering the circumstances.

It was so nice to be back home.

Micah's 1st plane ride

I was nervous about flying with Micah by myself, but he did so good. When we got on the lane he checked everything out he could around us, said hi to people, and looked out of the window. The engines started and he got comfy. Before you know it we were in the air. I gave him pieces of Tootsie roll to chew on to keep his ear from popping (what do ya know, it worked). We were in the air for about 5 minutes and Micah was snoring 5 minutes later. He woke up just a few minutes before the announcement came that we were about to land in Dallas. This kid ceases to amaze me!

I was unable to get actual photos at the airport, because it was too hard for me to watch our bag and Micah.

It is my 1st day of my summer break. I survived, YEAHHHHHH!!!! I have been so busy I couldn't update the sight. When I finally had a free moment to try to put up some updates I was too tired. So here are some updates--better late than never.

While spending some quality time with Micah started being really silly. I had to try to capture some of it on film. He likes to be silly.

Micah's 1st day at daycare

Well after a whole year it came to a point that we had to put Micah in daycare. As much as I dread the thought. Here we go with all the daycare illnesses from the cooties he is going to pick up there. For a whole year he has never been sick!

Luckily due to my school schedule he will only be there on a drop in basis. His cousins are watching him on Mondays also. What a big help that is. Thanks again guys!

Happy Birthday Micah!!!

Micah enjoyed himself on his birthday. His favorite toy seemed to be the blue Tonka truck. As you can see we did not have a big party or anything special, due to my rigorous school schedule.

We still can't believe our little guy is 1 already!

Cookout

Our apartment in St. Louis has a cafe/restaurant downstairs called Mense. They sponsored a cookout, and we decided to go for the good food and to possibly meet some neighbors. It was nice to peek my head outside of the books. We met a few people and had a really good time. Micah really enjoyed playing with the lawn chess pieces.

We all go to the Zoo

I had a chance to peek my head out of the books for a minute, because we were given a 3 day weekend for Independence Day. We decided to take advantage of this break and go to the Zoo.

We only saw about 1/3 of the whole thing, because we didn't go prepared with food and water. Since it is free, and close to our place we will go back.
