Micah is 10 months

Micah now has his bottom two teeth. He eats crackers and cookies--his favorites are banana cookies, and Cheese Nips. He also drinks from straws now. He is very proud of himself when he uses his 'big boy' cups.

As far as walking goes, he seems to want to take that first step, but he is very hesitant. I hope he does not decide to take the first step while I am at school.

One of his favorite games is chasing his doggy brothers while he is in his walker. Micah and Terrance have been hanging out at home while I in class. Micah has not missed a beat here in St. Louis.

Micah has teeth now

Micah finally has a tooth poking through his gums. I was checking his gums today and felt the crown of his first tooth.

By time we moved to Missouri he had both of his front teeth on the bottom coming in. I tried to get a photo, but he wouldn't smile big enough for me.

Getting settled in

Now that we are moved in we have already found a place that we like to hang out in. Our favorite place for walks and enjoying outdoors is Forest Park. The park is just a five minute walk from our apartment. So far things are going well. We have to get used to living on the 6th floor. A walk from the car with groceries is a major task now. Doggy boys seem to be adjusting pretty well to city life themselves.

I have all of my books, and have already started studying. Looking at the schedule this is going to be a tough summer, but I am ready--bring it!

Happy Mother's Day

Well my first official Mother's Day was spent trying to get settled in and resting. I slept half of the day, because I was so tired from our travels and moving.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there!

Moving

It was a long ride (about 12 hours) and a hard move, but we made it! Terrance unloaded a 5'8' trailer up to the 6th floor by himself not to mention after driving all night long.
